Have had an absolutely magnificent experience with Mauro. He is the true expert in all things Emerald (especially Colombian Emeralds). Throughout the process he has been fantastic in his communication and it has resulted in an amazingly beautiful Emerald ring, which is timeless. The quality of the Emerald is also unmatched compared to others seen at the same price point (it helps buying wholesale rather than retail). Could not recommend Mauro more highly and will be back to buy from him again! Many thanks Mauro.

I had been searching for months for the perfect emerald stone for my engagement ring and spoke with many dealers both in Sydney and overseas before I finally came across Mauro at Colonial Gemstones. The moment I saw my Muzo Colombian emerald, I knew my search was over. Mauro was patient, genuine and very easy to communicate with throughout the whole process, which made such a difference when making an important purchase like this. Because of the trust he built, I now feel completely comfortable entrusting Mauro to design both my engagement ring and my future wedding ring. It’s been a really special experience and I’m looking forward to creating more beautiful jewellery pieces with Mauro and the team in the future.

I had such a great experience with Colonial Gemstones and Mauro! The whole process was super easy and communication was great the entire time. Mauro made sure I was really happy with my ring — the emerald is absolutely beautiful and the whole ring turned out even better than I imagined. They were also really understanding and worked with my budget, which I really appreciated. I’m so happy with my ring and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Exceptional experience with Colonial Gemstones! Mauro’s customer service is excellent. He took the time to explain every detail, answered all my questions, and even accommodated FaceTime meetings. What really stood out was his willingness to respond outside business hours, reassuring me and addressing my concerns. He's pleasant, honest, and genuine - a true gem in the industry! We're looking forward to doing business with them again. Highly recommend Colonial Gemstones and Mauro’s expertise.

Excellent experience! Mauro's Colombian emeralds are absolutely beautiful. He was happy to share his knowledge of emeralds with me, took the time to chat through different stones, different sizes and cuts. I purchased a necklace that was the most exquisite green I have ever seen - I will be wearing it for years. I am already thinking of my next purchase! Thank you again Mauro for your time and knowledge, and making the process enjoyable💚
